Henry and his younger brother, Hezron, were deeply affected by the loss of both parents after a painful family separation and illness. Their father passed away from meningitis, and shortly after, their mother also died, leaving the boys without parental care and carrying a heavy emotional burden.
They were taken in by their grandparents, but severe financial hardship made it impossible to provide even their basic needs, including education and healthcare. Concerned for their wellbeing, local authorities reached out for help, and the brothers were brought into our care.
Today, Henry lives in a safe and nurturing environment where he is surrounded by stability, support, and love. He has a kind and gentle heart and especially enjoys caring for plants, faithfully watering and looking after them each day.
After the death of Favour’s mother, his grandmother took him and his siblings into her care, despite living in temporary housing and struggling to survive herself. Caring for several grandchildren alone, she worked exhausting low-paying jobs just to provide one meal a day.
Favour is HIV positive, and without access to proper medical care, his health began to deteriorate. The family could not afford treatment, education, or even basic necessities, and it became clear that he needed urgent support and stability.
After being brought to the orphanage, Favour began receiving proper medical treatment, nutritious food, education, and daily care in a safe environment.
Today, he has the opportunity to regain his strength, grow in stability, and look toward the future with hope.
Brightone was brought to us together with his older brother, Moses, after losing both of their parents within a short period of time. Their father passed away in 2022, and their mother died in 2023, leaving the boys without parental care.
The brothers were taken in by their 17-year-old sister, who had just given birth to her own baby. Overwhelmed by responsibility and financial hardship, she struggled to care for all three children while working long hours simply to provide food.
As a result, Brightone and Moses were often left alone without supervision or proper care. Realizing she could no longer meet their basic needs, help was sought, and the boys were brought into our care.
Today, Brightone is receiving stability, food, education, healthcare, and the support every child needs to grow in safety and hope for the future.

Brandon was brought to our orphanage together with his twin brother, Brain Lung'aho. After losing both of their par-ents, the boys were left in the care of their widowed grandmother. She worked tirelessly to provide food and basic care, but her limited resources made it impossible to meet all their needs.
Because of ongoing financial hardship and family debt, the twins were unable to attend school, placing their future at serious risk. Recognizing that she could no longer provide what the boys needed, their grandmother sought help, and the twins were brought to the orphanage.
At the orphanage, Brandon is being given a new chance at life. With proper nutrition, medical care, education, and the support of a loving team, he now has the opportunity to grow, learn, and build a hopeful future. Together, we can help change the course of his life and give the foundation every child deserves.
Kayden was brought to us together with his twin brother, Jayden. Their mother died during childbirth, leaving them in the care of their elderly grandmother, who was already responsible for several other children.
To keep the children from starving, their grandmother worked tirelessly washing other people's clothes, earning just enough for food. Because meals were infrequent and inadequate, Kayden developed stomach problems that affected his health. Ongoing debt and extreme poverty prevented him from attending school, leaving him without access to education or hope for the future. When it became clear that she could no lon-ger meet their needs, help was sought, and the twins were brought to the orphanage.
At the orphanage, Kayden was given the chance for a new beginning. With regular meals, medical care, education, and a safe environment, he can begin to heal and grow. We believe he has the potential for a brighter future and trust that God can work powerfully in his life.
Finley lost both of his parents at a very young age. His mother succumbed to stomach cancer after a long battle with the illness. His father later died in a tragic accident when the house he was demolishing collapsed on him.
Finley and his siblings were taken in by their maternal grandmother. However, due to her advanced age and lack of steady income, she depended entirely on the support of wellwishers to provide food and basic needs for the family.
Finley did not attend school because there was no one able to support his education. Instead, at such a young age, he herded cattle to earn a small income, which he brought home to his grand-mother so they could have food on the table. When it became clear that this situation was not safe or sustainable, help was sought, and Finley was brought to the orphanage, where he now receives proper care, regular meals, medical attention, and the opportunity to attend school and build a brighter future.

Iddah came to live with us together with her elder sister, Evalina. She never knew her father, and her mother passed away from AIDS. Iddah, along with her sis-ter and younger brother, lived with their grandmother under very difficult conditions. They slept on a mat of reeds and often skipped meals due to lack of food, sometimes eating only once a day.
Despite these hardships, Iddah is a very capable girl. She does well in school and especially loves mathematics. Cheerful and full of laughter, she can also be serious when needed. We see strong leadership qualities in her, and with God's help, she has the potential to become a leader who will positively impact her community.
Lucia came to the orphanage together with her twin brother, Gaby. Although they look very much alike, their personalities are very different—Lucia is lively, quick, and full of laughter, while Gaby is quiet, gentle, and affectionate.
Both of their parents suffer from mental health challenges and were unable to care for the children. For a time, the twins lived with their grandmother, who was blind and deaf. Despite their young age, Lucia and her brother had to take responsibility for household chores and caring for her.
When they arrived at the orphanage, they were able to attend school for the first time in their lives.
Today, they can read and write, and they actively participate in lessons and games with other children. Lucia is now growing in a safe, loving environment where she can simply be a child.
